When moving my blog over to the Mephisto system, i had the fortune of needing to convert the theme i used on Wordpress, called 3K2.

Suffice to say, it took me quite a while to get to grip’s with Mephisto’s templating language, Liquid. I also had to make head and tails out of Mephisto’s source code in order to add in missing functionality, although luckily some of it (like the tagging helpers) was already included in the development version.
In the end, i pretty much got most of the look of the Wordpress version of my blog, though obviously i had to work around features which i couldn’t directly reproduce in Mephisto (e.g. the sidebars are editable on the whole as liquid templates, not on a per-widget basis).

So without further adieu, here it is.

Note that you will need to install the plugin’s in the “vendor/plugins” directory and copy the theme over to your installation. If you are missing any Liquid helpers (resulting in a nice error message), please don’t hesitate to ask me for the associated code.
